 The Crusty Plug This plug is like the cruisin' plug, but things appear to have gone a little too far. The same light grey or sandy coloured deposits are there, but there really caked on thick. Have you been spraying WD40 in the cylinder to get that Type 2 started ? If so this is the result of excessive use of these kind of products. Other causes could be that the VW has been left with the engine idling for long periods or your valve guides are getting worn. |
